wedding cakesPosted by Fran on July 27, 1997 at 22:18:48: I just discovered your board and love it. I love to bake and experiment with new receipes. I'm getting married next year and plan on baking my own cake. I'll be using a cake stand to display each layer individually so that the cake layers can be fully decorated. I'd like to make each layer a different flavor as well. I'll be using gumpaste flowers to decorate. Any tips or suggestions for an amateur? Pitfalls to watch out for? Any advice would be appreciated. Fran
