: Is there anyone who runs the bar & catering as a franchise within a golf club and what pitfalls have you come across. I really do need to know everything. : Thank You Dave Hill Hi Dave, I've run a similar operation for about two yrs. now. For the most part it is kinda fun with not alot of headaches. You have a captive audiance which is nice plus you have the tournments which bring in even more people. The hours are a little better than a reg. restaurant gig so that is nice. On the other hand poor weather kills business. I don't know where you are located but who is the weather. Are you taking over for someone else didn't they make it? Why? Alot of question about the operation (see the other follow-up) before I can answer anymore of those questions. Good Luck
