: I am a graduate of Johnson & Wales with an associate's
: degree in culinary arts as well as a B.A. in English from
: another university. I have been working as a pastry
: chef for a restaurant in NE Connecticut and really hope
: to broaden the scope of my education and experience. I
: have recently found out about the continuing education
: program at J&W and wonder if anybody is familiar with
: the quality of education of that particular Pastry Arts
: Program. Can anybody help or make a suggestion of where
: one might go from here?

I currently have a posting up on the board involving what to choose between J&W or NYRS. Well, I made my decision and this month I will be attending the J&W CE program. This program seemed to be perfect for me, because it is only on the Weekends or Mon -Thur nights. I happened to choose the weekend schedule and with my past college credits I will only
be attending the lab classes on Sunday and almost no general ed studies on Sat. The program seems to be run the same for both Culnary Arts or Pastry and they say the quality of education is the same
