Check with all of your local High School for Catering classes. Ths will give ALL young people a chance to see how the industry works. The politics are the same too. What your teachers represent is your future employers. Ask them about wages for Cooks. You are Cooks before you are Chefs. Many good cooks in the world from fancy and not so fancy schools. There are fewer Chefs by the year that proudly earn enough for the spouse to stay home or work less than 80hrs week.
