: I'm trying to figure out where to head next. I want a
: college education but don't want to wait through four
: years of book learning to get to the fun stuff (Learning
: to be a chef). Is there a college out there where I can
: get both culinary training along with the book learning
: in one degree? Perhaps a college major in culinary arts?

Many schools offer degrees in culinary arts. Johnson & Wales is one of the most well known schools in the country and they offer many degrees. Many community colleges offer Associates of Applied Science degrees, this means you get a well rounded education with emphasis on culinary arts. I've got information on over 400 culinary schools around the world, e-mail me and I'm sure I can help you find what you're looking for
