Kathleen's Bake Shop Chocolate Chip CookiesPosted by Jeff Caravaggio on December 29, 1998 at 22:25:27:
These cookies are incredibly crunchy and have a special, delicate aftertaste that I can't quite discern. I've tried her recipe (she published it in her cookbook), but that delicious aftertaste is missing in the cookies I make from her recipe. If anyone has tried these cookies(they're available at gourmet stores in the NYC area -- Zabars, Dean & DeLuca, etc.) and knows what I am referring to, I would appreciate your input. I would love to make these at home. Thanks! Jeff
